Well things are coming along quite nicely... This week has seen the decorators finishing most of the walls. The main room looks so different from a few weeks ago with the flooring in and painted walls.
More power kit turned up today, along with our electrical contractors WM Engineering to discuss cable runs with our cable team (most of the cable work is being done in-house).
We had a visit from a Project Engineer at Tyco who are installing the Inergen Fire Suppression system to finalise pipe runs and take final measurements.
Next worry will be early next week when the Air Con indoor units arrive on Tuesday, turns out they won't fit in the buildings lift and they weigh 250kg each, so it's going to be a hell of a job to get them up the stairs! And I wanted Tuesday off!!

Arrival of our UPS
Since our last post we've been getting everything sorted for the arrival of the various systems needed to make the data centre safe, secure, and resilient. The anti-static flooring has now been laid and we have taken delivery of the first installment of our UPS!

We have also started to take delivery of other parts of the power distribution system, so before long we can get everything installed and tested. It is nice to see a lot of progress being made internally.
